We've moved shop!
After growing our quilt shop for five years on the farm, we decided to make the big move into town where we can expand a little more and be more accessible to more people. We have secured the gorgeous 1092's Beck's building for the shop. Not only is the outside of the building beautiful, but the space inside is perfect for our needs. We have a huge retail area, a huge well-lit class area and a perfect room to house the longarm quilting machine. And the cast iron fireplace tops it off! We are open Monday to Friday 9.30am till...

New Classes for August!
The first is a seriously cool little bag that has as many uses as it does pockets.
The second class is the cutest little Teddy Bear, designed by local woman Yvonne Spencer-Hoskin.

Quirky Birds Block of the Bi-Month - not too late to sign up.
Quirky Birds Block of the bi-month is well underway! Quirky Bird 1, Olliver, has flown to his new homes all around NZ, and Quirky Bird 2, Olena, almost ready to fly the coop as well. This Block of the Month is completely designed, dyed and kitted at Pink Possum Quilt Shop. The finished wool quilt will be 36" x 48" and bright and colourful, perfect for a wall or draped over a couch. Each kit you receive will have all wools, applique and embellishment threads included.
